One library, eight locations – that’s the principle behind the Macromedia Library. The library’s standards and any changes or developments are decided by the dean’s office in conjunction with the library management.
Aims
The Macromedia Library is committed to preserving and increasing knowledge. As a central meeting place of the university, we help to shape its culture and everyday life. As part of the university’s academic environment, the library is one of those responsible for creating an academic setting and an academic research environment. Its staff and resources are focused on facilitating the best possible conditions for this.
Terms of use
Below you will find the terms of use for all users.
The Macromedia Library is open for use by all members of Macromedia University and the Academy without prior registration:
Students, academy students and faculty members automatically have an account with the library. Administrative staff should contact their local library to set up a library account.
The on-site library can be used at any time during the opening hours of the locations without prior registration.
Anyone admitted to use the library can borrow and view literature in the Macromedia Library. Borrowing and viewing literature is possible on-site during library hours or by accessing the library’s digital holdings. There is no interlibrary loan between campuses.
Loan periods for physical holdings
Literature from the circulation collection can be borrowed for 3 weeks. An extension of the loan period by 2 weeks is possible via your library account or via the library staff of the respective campus. The non-lending collection can usually only be viewed on-site.
