DFG-funded licences for electronic media – national licences

Information about national licences

In order to achieve lasting improvements in the provision of specialist electronic resources at German universities, research institutions and academic libraries, since 2004 the German Research Foundation (DFG) has provided funding for national licences for electronic media through its funding programme “Licences for Digital Content”.

The aim of the programme is to enable academics, students and private individuals with an interest in academic topics to access databases, digital text collections, electronic journals and e-books. Some of the resources are directly relevant to courses offered by Macromedia University, while others are concerned with other academic topics.

You can find more information about the institutions that manage the licence agreements, all available resources and how individual users can register at www.nationallizenzen.de.
